Last week, I picked each of the four College Football Playoff quarterfinals games. With the games now in the books, it is now time to revisit my predictions.
How did my picks fare? Let's take a look and see:

(2) Ohio State over (10) Miami (Cotton Bowl)
"Miami is having its best season in 23 years. But Ohio State is simply too good for the Hurricanes to overcome."
The Hurricanes did not just beat Ohio State—they physically dominated the Buckeyes. Not a whole lot of people saw that coming.
Record: 0-1
(5) Oregon over (4) Texas Tech (Orange Bowl)
"With Miami and Texas Tech both losing, we get a semifinals consisting solely of SEC and Big Ten teams—yet another sign that those two conferences are a clear tier above the rest."
Texas Tech's defense looked very much capable of competing with the top SEC and Big Ten teams. The Red Raiders' offense, however, did not.

Record: 1-1
(1) Indiana over (9) Alabama (Rose Bowl)
"Indiana beats Alabama in the Rose Bowl, and it isn't considered an upset. Imagine telling that to someone from pretty much any other year in college football history."
Indiana did not beat Alabama in the Rose Bowl. Rather, the Hoosiers demolished Alabama in the Rose Bowl. Curt Cignetti's team gave the Crimson Tide the same reality check that Nick Saban's Alabama handed out so many times to very good but not great teams over the years.
Record: 2-1
(3) Georgia over (6) Ole Miss (Sugar Bowl)
"Ole Miss lost to Georgia earlier this season with Lane Kiffin. The Rebels suffer the same fate without him."

Maybe Lane Kiffin was holding Ole Miss back this entire time?
Record: 2-2
Overall performance
For the second round in a row, I went .500 with my picks. If this were baseball, I would be on a Hall of Fame pace. However, this is not baseball, so those are rather disappointing numbers.
Semifinal matchups
Here are the matchups for the semifinals:
-Fiesta Bowl: (10) Miami vs. (6) Ole Miss
-Peach Bowl: (5) Oregon vs. (1) Indiana
