After the game, a 26-24 victory, Rodgers told reporters his frustration in the moment stemmed from communication issues with the helmet. "We had the craziness with the helmet conking out," he said before revealing he "couldn't hear anything" in the helmet.

The quarterback explained that "in that situation," the Steelers don't have "a whole lot of plays we can get to that I can just call kind of off the cuff."

Rodgers recalled realizing the upcoming play was "way too important" with the Steelers down just four points. "We need a touchdown here, who cares about the timeouts at this point?" Rodgers said.

After he replaced the helmet, Rodgers said he "couldn't believe that that one didn't work either."

Despite the "chaos" of the helmet ordeal, Rodgers said he was feeling "a lot of gratitude" after the Steelers' win. "A lot of gratitude for the journey. Every season is different, had its challenges and adversity."

Rodgers told reporters the Steelers "haven't made it easy on ourselves" this season, but said he's "proud" of his teammates.

"It just takes a little belief at this point in the season," he said, adding that it's "nice to be back in this position" in the playoffs.
