In what might have been Aaron Rodgers’ final post-game press conference, the iconic quarterback clapped back when he was asked about his relationship with coach Mike Tomlin.

“I’ve talked extensively about how I feel about Mike," Rodgers said on Monday, Jan. 12. "And I just did in that f---in’ answer. Thanks.”

And with that, Rodgers grabbed his drink and left the dais.

The 42-year-old signal-caller’s 21st season in the NFL came to an end after the Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Houston Texans in the Wild Card playoff game, 30-6.

Mired by the Texans’ smothering defense, Rodgers completed 17-of-33 passes for 146 yards, with no touchdowns, one interception and two fumbles.

Texans safety Calen Bullock intercepted Rodgers’ final throw of the night and ran it back 50 yards for a touchdown.

The discouraging play capped a frustrating outing for the Steelers — and it was evident in Rodgers’ demeanor after the game.

Tomlin, too, got emotional about the game’s outcome, and how it might affect his future. The 53-year-old is the longest-tenured head coach in the NFL having coached the Steelers for 19 seasons since 2007.

"I'm not even in that mindset as I sit here tonight," Tomlin said. "I'm more in the mindset of what transpired in this stadium and certainly what we did and didn't do. Not a big-picture mentality as I sit here tonight."

The four-time NFL MVP, who signed a one-year, $13.65 million contract with the Steelers last June, also shot down questions regarding his thoughts of another year in the league.

“I’m not going to make any emotional decisions at this point,” he said. “Obviously it was such a fun year, a lot of adversity but a lot of fun … been a great year overall in my life this last year, and this is a really good part of that, coming here and being a part of this team.”
