Seven Denver Broncos players did not play in the team's Week 18 showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Denver linebacker Dre Greenlaw (hamstring), defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers (hip), cornerback Reese Taylor, outside linebacker Que Robinson, offensive tackle Geron Christian and tight end Marcedes Lewis were inactive. Additionally, backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham did not see the field as starter Bo Nix played every snap on offense.

With Greenlaw still sidelined, Justin Strnad got the start and ended the day with a team-high seven tackles. He also recorded a sack and a pass breakup in a 19-3 win.

Denver now has a bye for the wild card round (Jan. 10-12) of the NFL playoffs. The Broncos will wait to find out their opponent for the divisional round (Jan. 17-18) as the club prepares to host its first home playoff game since 2015.
