5 Team Canada Olympic hockey snubs, according to NHL fans

Team Canada's men's hockey team has been named by the country for the 2026 Olympics in Italy, and of course, there's so much star power on the squad, from seasoned veterans (Sidney Crosby) to breakout youngsters (Macklin Celebrini). There's no doubt they're going to be a gold-medal favorite in a couple of months.

But with so much talent to choose from, some players got left off the roster. And NHL fans made sure their voices were heard about it on social media. So here's a breakdown of the snubs after we heard from Doug Armstrong announcing the names who would be going to the Olympics:
