The Arizona Cardinals are looking for a new head coach after firing Jonathan Gannon on Monday. Gannon went 3-14 with the Cardinals in 2025 and 15-36 in three seasons.
While no candidates have arisen yet, three coaches who were finalists for the job in 2023 when Gannon was hired are available to be interviewed.

Who are those coaches?
Giants OC Mike Kafka
Kafka finished the season as the Giants' interim head coach. He has been on the Kansas City Chiefs staff under Andy Reid as passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach. From 2022-until now, he was the offensive coordinator for the Giants under Brian Daboll, promoted to assistant head coach in 2024 and then was the interim coach to finish this past season.
Vikings DC Brian Flores
Flores had two interviews in 2023 with the Cardinals. He has been Minnesota's defensive coordinator since 2023. He was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 2019-2021. He was part of Bill Belichick's staff with the New England Patriots from 2008-2018, so Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort knows him well.

Colts DC Lou Anarumo
Anarumo has been with the Colts one year after he was the defensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2019-2024. He was a position coach in the league from 2012-2018. Many believed that he was going to be the Cardinals' choice for head coach in 2023.
