The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18, and in doing so, hurt the Rams' 2026 NFL draft positioning. The two teams pulled off a draft day trade in 2025, with the Falcons sending their 2026 first-rounder to Los Angeles to move up for James Pearce Jr.
That pick now sits at 12th overall following Atlanta's 27-24 victory over Los Angeles on Monday Night Football.

Falcons rookie Xavier Watts, who was selected with a pick acquired in the Rams trade, intercepted Matthew Stafford twice in Week 18. The former Notre Dame standout now leads all rookies with five interceptions this season.
While Atlanta has no first-round pick in 2026, Watts is proof that instant-impact players can be found after Round 1. Check out the Falcons' current picks in the 2026 NFL draft entering Week 18 below.
