The Pittsburgh Steelers appear to be getting healthier ahead of the Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens — well, barring one surprise injury.
On Thursday, cornerback James Pierre, who returned to practice one day prior after missing three games with a calf injury, was a non-participant due to an illness, leaving his status in question to play this Sunday.
Signing with Pittsburgh as an undrafted free agent in 2020, Pierre finally emerged as a starting-caliber cornerback thanks to some incredible performances this season against the league’s very best wide receivers.
